Where can I find a good orange milkshake recipe?

by Everyday Recipes on April 26, 2010

I had the orange creme Frappuccino at Starbucks a few days ago and it was wonderful. However, I can’t find a recipe for it. I can’t find any fake recipes and I highly doubt the ppl in Starbucks would give me the proprietary recipe.

I’m looking for a good milkshake recipe, one that isn’t too bland. Also, I’d like the primary orange flavor to be orange extract- but i have no idea how much to put in.

Any recipes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i make mine using orange sherbet and vanilla ice cream. 2 scoops sherbet, 1 scoop ice cream, add milk to the consistancy you want and blend…tastes just like a creamsicle or dreamsicle or whatever you call them…

In response to the milkshake recipe request, I pour 12 ounces of Orange Crush over 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream in a tall sundae glass and stir. I guess you could also replace the Orange Crush with cream soda and flavor to your liking with orange extract.
